How to Decorate with White

Decorating  with white may seem a little daunting
but it doesn't have to be so...

All the shades  of white give a richness to the color
which can be paired with any other hue on the color wheel
but whites by themselves have an ethereal quality
unto themselves.

The romance  of white is that the hue can be made
even more beautiful with the addition of textures.
Pattern also plays a big part in the decorating of any room.
Texture and pattern together becomes the perfect marriage and
what brings richness in an all-white decor.

A post written about painting these metal trays white.

Angel wings made at Christmas time and our former garden in California.

The trio  of white, texture and pattern play off each other
magically ~ like Cinderella going to the ball and
finding her prince.
Swept up in the dance, the three balance each other in
a perfect harmony that the interior designer famous
for her all-white drawing room
Syrie Maugham
would find mellifluous.

Keep layering  whites in various shades and remembering to stay either mostly all cool {blue undertone}
or all warm undertones {yellow undertone} ~ sometimes
it's hard to mix the two together.
A final thing to consider.
